Hoping to arrive on April 18th 2010, a little baby girl! What to expect? Well, I don't think anyone is really ever prepared for it. We are 6 months along and my life is very different from this time last year. All of my Post-Production and recording equipment is gone, and now we have baby furniture and toys in the spare room. Might have to upgrade our space pretty soon!

I’ve witnessed an independence Day fireworks show in at least 5 different states, 2 countries (Canada Day is July 1) and 10 cities. A few close friends joined Mary and I to witness our first Stamford Connecticut Fireworks display. It started off with a bang, forgive the pun, and the first minute or two was as spectacular as the finale at most other shows. I took some picture with my Canon Powershot G9 and was extremely impressed with the results. These were all shot handheld in a low light situation. Stamford shoots off the fireworks from a barge over the Long Island Sound. We were maybe 20 feet from the waters edge, aligned directly center with the barge. there was a full moon and mainly clear skies. Check out the pics here: Pics

I had a couple offers working in IT but mainly in windows environments. Not my first choice, but a job is a job. Then I stumbled upon Everett Hall Associates, Inc. EHA is an all Apple outfit that specializes in Professional Audio Video. I take care of the IT and Communications as well as running the Post Production Department! YAY! I get paid to do what I love. Not enough people get that.

Last Thursday, we woke up to a retched smell of burning oil. It turns out someone stuffed a towel down the oil heater ventilation shaft. The city of Greenwich CT has deemed our apartment uninhabitable by humans! So Mary and I are on the hunt for a new apartment. I think this will be my 16th address. I can't wait to be a home owner and not have to move every 2 years.

It was a 1989 Powder Blue Ford Taurus WAGON! It was GREAT! What a chick magnet. Who wouldn’t want to cruise around in a station wagon? Well... my friends loved it because i always could fit my entire crew. They weren’t always comfortable, but it got the job done. That car took me to Chicago, Toronto, PA and all over Ohio. After a 3 transmissions and 2 different starters, it was time to let go and move on to bigger and better.
Above are some of the cars of my past. Soon to come are my new car and also my motorcycle!

We got a chance to climb aboard some really huge sail boats and check them out. It was the last time they were stopping in Rhode Island so we thought we should go. Read on for more about it....

Tall Ships® Rhode Island 2007 is an international celebration of world-class Tall Ships® and youth training programs, culminating in an extensive maritime festival ever, spreading across the entire Newport Harbor from June 27-July 1, 2007. Highlighted by the presence of the Tall Ships Fleet and capped by their grand Parade of Sail to sea, it's planned to attract more than 250,000 visitors as it reaches out to the entire state of Rhode Island and neighboring New England states.
An International Village, made up of tent-pavilions representing the participating countries, will stand in the heart of Newport to celebrate the global community and to educate and entertain visitors. The Festival will also coincide with the 50th Anniversary Reunion of the US Navy's international Naval Command College, which will attract many senior level government and naval officers from around the world, many of whom will participate in the festivities.
